200,000 people vaccinated for COVID-19 in Minnesota

ST. PAUL, Minn. (KEYC) - Minnesota state health officials report 200,000 people have been vaccinated for COVID-19 statewide.

The Minnesota Department of Health also reports 922 new confirmed positive cases of COVID-19. The total accumulative number of cases in Minnesota since the pandemic began is 448,268. Of those total cases, 34,986 are health care workers.

There have been six additional deaths tied to COVID-19. The statewide death toll is now at 5,945. Deaths among cases that resided in long-term care or assisted living facilities are 3,790.

There are 431,096 people who are no longer isolated.

23,517 people total have been hospitalized due to COVID-19. Of that total, 4,895 were hospitalized in ICU.

The total approximate number of tests completed is 6,188,091.

DES MOINES, Iowa. (KEYC) - The Iowa Department of Public Health reports 2,058 new confirmed positive cases of COVID-19, raising the total to 306,617.

There are 59 additional deaths tied to COVID-19, raising the statewide death toll to 4,332.

268,908 people have recovered and are no longer isolated.

1,427,388 people have been tested statewide.
