Golf courses prepare for spring

MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - While enjoying Wednesday’s first glimpse of spring, it’s also a countdown to enjoying some of your favorite outdoor summer activities.

Terrace View Golf Course is gearing up for another big year. Last year’s golf season lasted until late December.

Before golfers can tee-off on opening day, a few things need to happen. The snow has to melt and the ground has to be ready.

This year, Terrace Golf Course is hoping to have more people enjoy the bar and the food while still following state COVID guidelines.

“We are just excited. We are hoping for an early spring, get people out here,” said Brittany Lindon, operations manager at Terrace View Golf Course. “We are getting lots and lots of phone calls with the sunshine and the warm weather. We will get you out here as soon as we possibly can, we just have to let the course dry up a little bit. We are looking forward to a great 2021 season.”

Spring is officially 17 days away.
