Navigating the Highway 60 detour during Paddlefish Days

MADISON LAKE, Minn. (KEYC) — Paddlefish Days kicked off Thursday in Madison Lake, and drivers will still have to deal with the Highway 60 detour from Eagle Lake to Elysian.

Originally, the highway was supposed to reopen by Friday, but that has now been pushed to next Friday.

If you planned on taking Highway 60 to the annual get-together, MnDOT District 7 says local access is still available, but it’s preferred that remains reserved for local vehicles and pedestrians.

In addition, the city of Madison Lake is closing County Road 26 on Saturday for the parade.
