-- What’s your favorite part of your job?
The fact that I get paid to watch sports!
-- What is your dream story?
I would love to do a story on Brett Favre. Since I was born in Minnesota, grew up in Wisconsin, then returned to Minnesota for college, I have always cheered for the Vikings and the Packers (I know, unheard of). I would love to hear his thoughts on playing for both teams.
-- What did you want to be when you were growing up?
I always wanted to be Vanna White. She has such an easy and fun job and she gets to wear beautiful gowns every day!
-- What got you interested in sports?
I grew up in a very athletic and sports-loving family. My dad wrestled and played baseball and football in high school, going on to play football in college. My mom played tennis and was on the track and poms team in high school. She continued to run in college. My sister figure skated for 13 years before transitioning to hockey and golf in high school, she then continued golf in college. I have always been a competitive cheerleader. In my house growing up, Friday’s were for high school football, Saturday’s were for college football, and Sunday’s were for the NFL! To sum it up, I grew up with sports all around me.
