The Annual Lenten Fish Feed takes place each Friday during lent. On Friday March 22nd, St. John the Baptist is serving dinner from 4:30pm-7pm.

Knight of Columbus is hosting a fish fry dinner on Friday March 22nd from 5:30-7pm at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Mankato. Cost is $10 for adults, children under 12 are $4. All proceeds will support the St. John's Knights of Columbus and their many activities and charitable contributions.

American Legion Post 132 is hosting their 24th Annual Fish Fry on Friday March 22 at the American Legion Post 132, 13 S Minnesota St, New Ulm They will be serving from 11 am - 8 pm or until gone. Cost is $12.00 for adults and $6.00 for children 10 and under. All proceeds go for our veterans and the operation of our post.

Lynn Callahan and Peggy Draheim present Unlock the Mysteries of Color on Friday, March 22 at 1pm. Have you ever wondered about colors and how to use them? We will study the relationships of colors on the color wheel with hands on experiences. This class is limited to 12 people. A $5 materials fee will be required. Eagle Lake Fire Department Legion Fry! The Eagle Lake Fire Department will be cooking and serving dinner from 5:30 pm-7:30 pm. You will have a choice of Steak Dinner OR Fish Dinner for $12.00. All dinners include; salad, baked potato, vegetable and dinner roll. Big Bucks Bingo starts at 7:00 pm. The annual Luck of the Irish, a fundraiser for John Ireland Catholic School, will be held on March 23, at the Nicollet County Fairgrounds. There will be silent and live auctions, a delicious pork dinner from 5-7 pm, Bingo and more! If you are interested in buying a $30 raffle ticket, or $15 dinner ticket, call the school office 507-931-2810 or talk to any John Ireland Family. Tickets will also be available at the door. Everyone age 21 and older is welcome! All funds raised go towards John Ireland School

The 6th annual Luck of the Irish 7K Fun Run will be held the morning of March 23. A kids run will follow the 7K. Nicollet Legion Progressive Bingo at the Nicollet American Legion, 715 Third Street, Nicollet, MN 56074. Time is 4 to 8 pm. Food and drinks available.

Waseca Jazz Fest featuring the Southern Minnesota Big Band and Nachito Herrera will take place on Sunday March 24 at 3pm in the Waseca Performing Arts Center. Tickets on sale in advance at Waseca Music Company or teh day of the event.

Pheasant Forever banquet at the St. James MN Legion starts at 5pm with a social hour dinner at 6:30pm.

The Martin County Veterans is hosting a Beef or Turkey Commercial and Cookie Walk on Thursday March 28th from 5-7pm at the Fairmont Eagles Club. Prices for full is $8 and for a half $5 with take out available. All proceeds go to the Martin County Veteran's Memorial Wall.

The Fillin' Station in Mankato is having a music night on march 29th from 7-9pm. Musical performers include 4 MSU voice students guaranteeing a fun night of jazz, opera, and contemporary hits. No fee at the door, just music and coffee for the average music lover.

The Truman's Firemen's Breakfast takes place on Saturday March 31st at the Truman Fire Hall from 9am-1pm.

The Gaylord United Church of Christ is hosting a Soup & Chili Cook-Off to raise money for the Sibley County Food Shelf. The event is planned for Sunday, March 31 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Gaylord UCC, 318 4th St., Gaylord. The fundraiser will correspond with Minnesota Food Share’s March drive, which runs Feb. 25th – April 7th. All money raised will be donated to the Sibley County Food Shelf, and tasting & judging are open to all.

The Madelia Area Chamber is excited to present “Local Growers Expo” on Wednesday, April 3rd, from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm at the Madelia American Legion. This event will be a great opportunity to learn more about what is happening in our area.This is a FREE event, open to the public. Refreshments will be served and hourly door prizes given.

Catholic United Financial Matching Grant Rummage Sale is on Friday, April 5, 2019 4-7 pm and Saturday, April 6, 2019 8 am-12 noon in the St Raphael School Auditorium, Springfield MN. All proceeds benefit St. Raphael School & Faith Formation Program.

The Pediatric Therapy Services, Inc is hosting a free event on Saturday, April 6th from 9am-11am. Come explore our fun therapy space where you can experience sensory activities and crafts, learn about different forms of cause and effect, test your skill on the obstacle course and play with our giant felt potato head. Enjoy music performed by a local music therapist.

The Mankato Area International Festival is Minnesota State University, Mankato's largest international event. The festival provides attendees with a passport to discover a colorful flag parade, great singing, dancing, a fashion show, food vendors, cultural displays, children's area for making crafts, as well as a silent auction to raise funds for future international festivals. The festival celebrates diversity and culture from around the world and within the Mankato community. This event provides a common message of peace, harmony and friendship. It also gives an opportunity for attendees to experience many cultures under a single roof. Men's Health Forum, presented by Mankato Clinic, is at 5 p.m., Tuesday, April 9, at Country Inn & Suites, Mankato. This FREE event includes a Wellness Expo with free health screenings and education and a complimentary light supper. The program begins at 6 p.m. with Mankato Clinic patient Jim Levandowski presenting "Not Done Living" followed by Bukata Hayes presenting "Connect to Thrive." The Catholic United Financial Palm Sunday Brunch takes place on Sunday April 14th form 9-12:30am. The menu includes assorted egg bakes, cinnamon and caramel rolls, muffins, fruit and beverage. The brunch will be held at St. Raphael School Auditorium in Springfield, MN.

Mark your calendar! This year's Annual Saint Peter Easter Egg Hunt will take place at 10am on Saturday, April 20 at Gorman Park. Children ages 12 and under are invited to participate. Areas for each age group will be sectioned off. This event is FREE and open to the public. For more information call 507-931-0949

The 2nd Annual Easter Egg Hunt and Easter Basket Giveaway takes place on April 20, at 1 pm. Kids (up to age 12) bring your baskets and be a part of our 2nd Annual Egg Hunt! THIS YEAR THE EASTER BUNNY WILL STOP BY! There will be 3 lucky winners! Two will win a big chocolate bunny and one will win an Easter basket! No purchase necessary! Basket drawing to be held immediately following Easter Egg Hunt. Winner must be present or we will draw another name! This year they will be more than doubling our eggs! They will have 5,000 candy and toy filled eggs and 1 golden egg. The event takes place at Dave's River Valley Harley - Davidson located at 1200 N. River Drive, Mankato, MN 56001
