Open Door Health Center (ODHC) invites the public to a kid–focused health day at 309 Holly Lane on Saturday, August 1, 2015. The event is open to all families from the Greater Mankato Area. There are a limited number of medical and dental appointments still available for children from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Call 507–388–2120 today to schedule an appointment.

A kids' health fair and expo will run concurrently with the kids' clinic from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The kids' health fair will include refreshments, activities relating to health, music, prizes, face painting, and more. The health fair's theme, passport to health, will encourage children and their parents to visit multiple activity stations.

ODHC leadership created the Saturday event in response to an identified community need to provide well–child exams, immunizations, sports physicals, and oral exams during a timeline outside of the traditional work week.

Community partners will also be onsite with additional hands–on activities for the attendees. Vendor booths are available until Monday, July 27 for a small registration fee. For more information, please call 507–344–5779 or visit www.odhc.org/connect/events.
