Police: Mankato Business Paid Employees in Meth
The owner of a Mankato auto repair shop is under arrest after authorities say he offered employees a bonus in the form of Meth.
Wednesday night agents from the Minnesota River Valley Drug Task force conducted a search warrant of Clear Choice Auto Body Repair shop at 1676 Star Street in Mankato.
This after an employee of Clear Choice told authorities, the owner, 40-year-old Jesse Michael Seifert and his girlfriend Nancy Jean Loehlein, 39, both of Mankato, have been paying employees of Clear Choice in methamphetamine.
According to a press release, at a work meeting on Wednesday each employee was given approximately one half gram of meth as a bonus from Loehlein and Seifert.
Seifert was arrested on a execution of the warrant for gross misdemeanor driving after cancellation and placed in the Blue Earth County Jail.
A search of the property also found used syringes and a digital scale each testing positive for meth.
The case is under investigation with more charges pending.
The Mankato Department of Public Safety and Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office assisted in the warrant.
