Minnesota House District 23B's seat is officially no longer vacant.

Jeremy Munson was sworn in at Tuesday's legislative session shortly after noon Tuesday.

State Rep. Munson has previously said that he looks to tackle price transparency in healthcare as well as job creation in the Ag community as his top legislative goals.

But first, he has to get used to the process of working in the State House.
"It was my first day, there was a lot of votes on pushing bills to different committees," said Munson. "I'm not familiar with the work that was done last year so I have a lot of reading to do, a lot of catch up to do with what bills are in motion."
Munson was appointed to four committees: Agriculture Finance, Agriculture Policy, Healthcare Reform as well as the Jobs and Energy Committee.
