REDWOOD FALLS, MN - Several candidates for state and federal offices will discuss rural issues at this year's Farmfest.
This year's event will feature candidates for governor, both U.S. senate seats, and Minnesota's first, second, sixth, and seventh congressional districts.
Kent Thiesse, forum coordinator for Farmfest, said: "We're talking in Washington, D.C., with the US senate and the congressional candidates, what their positions are on things like farm bill or health care, trade issues, immigration, and other big issues."
Farmfest is in Redwood Falls, off of Highway 67, at the Gilfillan Estate.  It runs August 7th through the 9th.
