MANKATO, MINN - RibFest organizers are opening up parking spots and running a shuttle service in anticipation for large crowds.
Ramps in the downtown area of Mankato will be opened up for RibFest–goers along with other parking areas near Riverfront Park where the festivities are being held.

Organizers want to prevent congestion near the park and Vetterstone Amphitheater.

"We've opened up the ramps, the Mankato Place and the City Center ramps for shuttle service," said Co-Director Eric Jones. "Shuttle picks up right here in front of the Don Brose Training Center, takes you right down to RibFest and brings you back at the end of the night."
Shuttle services begin at 5 PM every night of RibFest and are free to use.
