Mankato, Minn.-- From 10 til noon, family farmers and artisans displayed their goods at Drummer's Garden Center. The food items ranged from herbs and tea to meat and eggs.

While the in-season market features more fresh fruit and vegetables, the winter market offers longer lasting products.

"It has gotten bigger. More and more vendors every year." said Geri Vogel, greenhouse manager at Drummer's Garden Center, "What's here today are onions, apples, things that store well."

Not just food, the farmers market also featured winter wear and crafts.

The next event for shoppers is two weeks from today.
