Mankato Symphony Orchestra Provides Interactive Musical Experience
Mankato, MN --- The four-part concert series, Viva Vivaldi, continued tonight at the Southern Minnesota Children's Museum.
Mankato Symphony Orchestra is partnering with the museum and is bringing classical music to children in the community.
Musicians, actors and storytellers provided an interactive experience for children as they gained knowledge of the art of classical music that they might not get at school.
"You know often they're not able to provide an interactive experience the way that we can because we have grants that fund specifically, youth education and outreach programs, so we're positioned really well to help accentuate what the schools are able to do to help kids start that classical music experience," says executive director of Mankato Symphony Orchestra, Hannah Bretz.
The last installment of the four-part series is on April 20 at 3 p.m. at the Children's Museum.
