Panel Focuses On Establishing Healthy Dating Habits For Teens
As Sexual Assault Awareness Month comes to an end parents were invited to talk to their kids and teens about dating.
CADA hosted a panel discussion on healthy relationships. Panelists from The Reach, Project for Teens and Mankato Area Public Schools discussed consent and respect for when kids begin dating.
"We don't often know how to approach the subject of having a healthy relationship and boundaries and treating our partners as equals and that can lead to assault later, that can lead to abuse and unhealthy relationships and I don't think any parent wants that for their kid."
CADA has a multitude of resources available to educate and aid the public, free and confidential.
