MINNESOTA-- Minnesota employers are tacking on more jobs, eager to ramp up for a busy spring and summer.

Job numbers released from the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development show a jump of 3,600 jobs statewide in April.

The Mankato Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) saw over the year job growth with 501 jobs added up slightly from last March.

DEED said the construction industry is the big draw right now, seeing the largest statewide gain among all jobs so far in 2019.
