MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - A FEMA Disaster Recovery Center opens Wednesday in Mankato.

According to FEMA officials, the center will help residents through the recovery process after the severe storms and flooding that happened in June.

Officials with FEMA, the state of Minnesota and the U.S. Small Business Administration will be at the center to help all survivors apply for federal disaster assistance, upload documents and answer any questions.

The center will be at the Justice Center on Carver Road and will be open all week long from 7:30 in the morning to 6:30 in the evening.

Officials say more recovery centers will be opening in other impacted areas soon.
