Old Main Village fair

MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - Old Main Village in Mankato held its own version of the state fair today.

The senior living facility offers the event every year with the goal of giving a taste of the state fair right at home. Fair food, carnival games, prizes and tours of the facility for those interested are all offered each year.

The event is just one of Old Main’s monthly public events that they say are meant to bring generations together in one place and build connections between families.

“Really it’s for the people that live here and their families, as well as their grandkids. great-grandkids, as well as for the public to come in and actually ask questions about senior living and what we do here and what we could do for them.”

The event is always held the day before the actual state fair opens, which it does tomorrow.
