Progress continues on roundabout at Highway 22 and Augusta Drive

MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - Work continues on a road project on Mankato’s northeast side.

Crews continue to make progress on the multi-lane roundabout at Augusta Drive and Highway 22.

Work on that project started at the end of July.

This video taken from our KEYC News Now Drone just the other day and as you can see the shape of the roundabout has been formed in the dirt and the utility work looks to be complete.

The $2.5 million project includes constructing a dual-lane roundabout at Highway 22 and Augusta Drive intersection, constructing new trails, and realigning existing trails.

Construction is expected to be complete in early October, weather permitting.
