Supportive housing project receives state funding

MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - House instability will be tackled by a new, collaborative project led by Partners for Housing in Mankato.
Organizers hope to break ground this fall for the state-funded Permanent Supportive Housing project.
The building will include 40-units of permanent housing to rent and onsite resources for long-term housing solutions.
It’s a multi-organization project, with collaboration by the city of Mankato, Blue Earth County, Trellis Co., and Partners for Housing.
Partners says they’re work with more non-profits organizations and businesses for services on this project.
This is just phase one of a two-phased project.
Once enough funds are raised, phase two will build a new shelter.
