Mankato area radio stations purchased

MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - A group of Mankato radio stations has a new owner.

Pending federal approval, Connoisseur Media has agreed to purchase Alpha Media, owner of Mankato stations Country 103-5, Z99, River 105 and Rock 95.

Connoisseur currently operates eleven stations in Connecticut and Long Island.

The combined company will own 218 station in 47 markets.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, with the deal expected to close in the second half of the year.
