North Mankato council approves conditional use permit for cannabis retailer

NORTH MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - The North Mankato City Council has given unanimous approval for a conditional use permit for the city’s first cannabis retail store.
The shop will be located 300 Belgrade Avenue.
The application from Cornflower Blue Properties already has preliminary approval from the state.
Monday night, the council approved a conditional use permit for the business as its proposed location follows all city ordinances.
If fully licensed by the state and opened, the business would be one of two cannabis retailers allowed to operate in the city.
