Waseca area lakes closed due to emergency discharge

WASECA, Minn. (KEYC) - The City of Waseca has closed some area lakes due to emergency discharge of Wastewater.

The City of Waseca has closed Clear Lake beaches & boat ramps, Rice Lake, Gaiter Lake, Watkins Lake, Moonan Marsh and Crane Creek until further notice.

The city says water may be contaminated and to avoid contact as it may pose a health risk.
