Papa Murphy’s donating a portion of proceeds to Annunciation School, Church
MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - This Wednesday, Papa Murphy’s will donate half of online sales to the Church of the Annunciation in Minneapolis.
Over 70 stores across Minnesota will participate in the event. The proceeds will go directly to the Church of the Annunciation to use for rebuilding and healing. We spoke to a local Papa Murphy’s owner here in Mankato.
“Being of the faith, it hits closer to home. The children and everyone that were in church praying. In something like this, you really can’t put it to words. Unfortunately, this is the second time that we’ve had to do this. Earlier this past year, we had to do one of these in Madison, Wisconsin, for the Abundant Life Christian School. So many young people are getting affected by this, and this is really the least thing that we can do,” said Mankato Papa Murphy’s owner Nicholas Meyer.
To take part on Wednesday, customers need to enter the code HOPE when completing an online order.
