“Bundle Me Warm” event just one week away

MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - As fall temperatures finally settle in, the Salvation Army is preparing for its annual winter clothing giveaway.

Bundle Me Warm is an annual event that allows kids to pick up winter coats, gloves, hats, boots, scarves and snowsuits free of charge from the Salvation Army’s Riverfront Drive location.

There is no financial or residential restriction, and the Salvation Army said that access to warm winter clothes is a necessity as winter will be here before you know it.

TheBundle Me Warmcoat distribution is open to anyone in need of a winter coat—adults and children alike.

While families are encouraged to shop together for children’s sizes to ensure the best fit, children do not need to be present to receive a coat.

Bundle Me Warm will be at the Salvation Army Wednesday, October 15 and Thursday, October 16 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
