More than 2500 items given away during Mankato Salvation Army’s Bundle Me Warm

MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - More than 800 people received winter weather gear at this year’s bundle me warm event.

The annual event is put on by the Mankato Salvation Army with the help of volunteers and donated items.

More than 2500 winter clothing items were given away on Wednesday and Thursday to anyone who needed it.

Donations are already being accepted for next year’s event. You can make a donation year-round at the Mankato Salvation Army Thift Store and through October at the Mankato Walmart, St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, all community bank locations and with the Amboy Lions Club.
