Mount Kato hosting a ski and snowboard sale Friday and Saturday

MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - This is the annual fundraiser for the Mount Kato Ski Patrol to assist with equipment and training.

The gear is a mixture of used and new equipment mostly from vendors and people that outgrew their old stuff.

The first frost Friday morning has the Mount Kato staff itching for some snow, and they’re eager to help folks prepare for the season.

Ski Patrol member John Rassieur said, “We invite everyone to come out to take a look. We have a lot of really quality equipment for folks to take advantage of and enjoy the sport of skiing or snowboarding.”

The sale continued Friday evening until 8 p.m. but will resume at 8 a.m. Saturday until 4 p.m.
