MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - Crews are working on the final touches of the 2025 construction on Highway 22 between Mankato and St. Peter.

The Minnesota Department of Transportation says progress continues as crews work on wrapping up the two-year project’s current session of work.

Before re-opening, crews will finish paving work at Blue Earth County Road 2, top soil placement and seeding, marking pavement, installing guardrails, rumble strip and sign installation.

Highway 22 is expected to reopen later in November with construction set to resume for the final phase in the spring.
