MSU football falls to MSU Moorhead in regular-season finale

MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - Minnesota State football closed its regular season with a 31-23 loss to MSU Moorhead at Blakeslee Stadium on Saturday. The Dragons built an early lead behind Jack Strand’s efficient start, while the Mavericks clawed back with touchdowns from Mitchell Thompson and Sam Backer. A missed extra point slowed the comeback, and Moorhead sealed it with a fourth-quarter scoring drive.
