Children’s Museum of Southern Minnesota names Kim Kleven as new CEO

MANKATO, Minn. (KEYC) - The Children’s Museum of Southern Minnesota has announced a new CEO, naming Kim Kleven to the role on Friday.

Kleven brings 20 years of connection to the museum to her new role as the CEO, and was even involved in the museum’s creation, as she helped lay the groundwork for it.

Kleven has also worked as a volunteer, curriculum writer, program developer, and board member and board chair, helping to guide the organization, which included the opening of its permanent location in 2015.

Her most recent role for the museum was working as the vice president of play and learning at the museum.
