NICOLLET, Minn. (KEYC) - As a longtime fan of TV gameshows, Nicollet farmer Chad Cabanilla says that getting to compete on Wheel of Fortune in an episode airing on Thursday was a dream come true.

Cabanilla says his family raises alpacas just outside of Nicollet. He decided to apply for the show this year to fulfill that lifelong dream.

He says that his favorite memory from the experience was getting to meet Vanna White, who introduced herself to the contestants the morning of the game.

“Ryan and Vanna were absolutely great; the managing crew, the stage crew was awesome,” Cabanilla said.

Cabanilla says his game will air at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, as part of Wheel of Fortune’s ongoing Spring Forward Tournament.
