Riley Wyant

Riley Wyant is an Emmy Award-winning anchor for 12 On Your Side and a reporter for the On Your Side Safety Team. She also anchors Fox Richmond’s News at 10.

Riley recently received a Capital Emmy Award for her anchoring on Election Night in 2024. She was previously nominated in 2023 for her reporting on the tragic University of Virginia shooting.

Since joining the team in October 2021, Riley has worn many hats. She started as a Weekend Anchor and Reporter, served as the Henrico County beat reporter in 2023, and became a full-time weekday anchor on the 5:30 p.m. and 11 p.m. newscasts in January 2024.

She also anchored all Olympic Zone coverage during the 2024 Paris Olympics, and during football season, she created and hosted a weekly sports segment called “The Riley Rundown,” which aired before Sunday Night Football.

Before moving to Richmond, Riley was an Anchor/Reporter at NBC29 in Charlottesville, where she also pitched in on weather and sports coverage.

A proud Virginia Tech Hokie, Riley graduated with a degree in Multimedia Journalism, a minor in Political Science, and a concentration in Sports Media and Analytics. While in college, she interned with WFXR Sports in Roanoke and worked as a sideline reporter for ESPN3 and ACC Network Extra.
