Seasonal temps return this weekend, little to no rain in the forecast
Highs to climb into the 60s this weekend with very few isolated showers possible.
Temperatures will return to seasonal this weekend with highs rising back into the 60s. Dry conditions persist despite isolated rain chances at times this weekend and early next week.
Today will start off on the crisp side with areas of frost likely across southern Minnesota and northern Iowa. Skies will be mostly sunny through the day with a few clouds passing through from time to time. Temperatures will remain cooler today before warming up by Saturday, with highs topping out in the low-50s and winds hovering between 5 and 15 mph, gusts up to 20 mph possible at times. Tonight will remain mostly clear and crisp as temperatures drop into the mid-30s once more by tomorrow morning before that slight warm up takes over.
Saturday will start off with mostly sunny skies before clouds take over through the mid-afternoon hours. Temperatures will be on the more seasonal side, topping out in the mid-60s as winds hover between 5 and 15 mph. As clouds move in, a few isolated showers may develop around the area anytime after 5 pm. These isolated showers will be light with not everyone seeing them, and will clear out of the area to the south, southeast through the overnight hours as temperatures drop into the upper-40s by Sunday morning.
Sunday will return to being mostly sunny through the morning and afternoon hours. Temperatures will be pleasant, topping out in the upper-60s as winds hover between 10 and 15 mph, gusts up to 20 mph possible. Sunday night will become partly cloudy as temperatures drop into the low-50s by Monday morning.
Monday will then teeter between partly cloudy and mostly cloudy with a few isolated showers possible. Temperatures will top out in the mid-60s as winds hover between 15 and 20 mph, gusts up to 30 mph possible at times. Monday night will continue to teeter between partly cloudy and mostly cloudy skies as temperatures drop into the low-40s by Tuesday morning.
From there, Tuesday and Wednesday will remain on the partly cloudy to mostly cloudy side with isolated rain chances possible as a very weak/minor cold front moves through the area. This will drop temperatures back into the mid-50s for both Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. Winds will remain on the breezy side, hovering between 10 and 20 mph, gusts between 20 and 30 mph possible. Isolated rain chances come to an end Wednesday evening. Overnight temperatures will become chilly again, dropping into the mid-30s by Wednesday morning and by Thursday morning.
Thursday and Friday of the end of next week will then return to teetering between mostly sunny and partly cloudy with temperatures returning back into the 60s. On Thursday, we are looking at the low-60s with the upper-60s returning by Friday afternoon. Winds will remain breezy, between 10 and 15 mph, gusts up to 20 mph possible. Overnight temperatures will drop into the mid-40s by Friday morning and by Saturday morning.
Next weekend is looking to remain seasonal with partly cloudy skies in the forecast. Temperatures will continue to hover in the mid-60s with winds hovering between 10 and 15 mph, gusts up to 20 mph possible at times. Overnight temperatures will likely drop into the mid-40s by Sunday morning and the upper-40s by Monday morning.
